Relationships
The Relationships rail is a matchup: pick two characters and read every scene they share.

The relationship rail: two characters picked, their shared scenes laid out as a spine.

Cao Cao against Zhao Yun. The left list picks the reference, the right picks the target, and the spine between them shows only the chapters they share. Clicking an event opens its detail: here a mutual conflict, typed as external.
The matchup
The left sidebar ranks characters by total lines spoken.
After picking one, and the right roster re-ranks by how much each character shares scenes with that chosen character. This is how you find our their closest partners, or neglected interactions with others.
The duo header shows both portraits. Click either to open its character page. Between them, the swap control carries a sort toggle that flips the spine oldest- vs newest-first. The spine below runs every scene the pair shares, in reading order.
Layers
- Presence - back-to-back dialogue bars per scene (A ◀ cell ▶ B): who carries each shared scene.
- Chapters - band the spine by chapter, from your story tree.
- Warmth - replace the spine with the pair's warmth trajectory, on a Warm Cold axis.
- Events - relationship-shift markers flanking each scene; click one for the detail.
- Irony - dramatic-irony bands (from custody topics): where the reader knows what a fighter doesn't, the band sits on the unknowing side. Summoned, not ambient - off by default.
Reading it
- A roster row's tint and trailing number are its metric - total lines for the left, lines-shared-with-the- fighter for the right. The selected row keeps its tint and gains a glow.
- The rail spans the active timeline's scenes in reading order - the same set every other rail shows.
- The declared bond (how you describe the relationship) isn't shown here - it lives on each character's page, a click away via the portraits.
